How I Made $0.02 Last Month on Medium in 3 Simple Steps
Medium is an amazing platform with tons of potential. If you don’t believe me, look at all the “I Made [insert huge sum here] Last Month Working From My Toilet” posts. Obviously, a lot of people with way too much time on their hands are making a ton of money! So why not me?
The Lucrative Phase
I drew a big circle around January 1st. It was going to be the beginning of my lucrative phase. I made a list of all the articles I could think of and chose the best ten. Ten felt like a good manageable number. It was only two articles a week and two additional ones wherever they fit in the month. The other people were only spending 4–6 hours a week, according to their stories, and they were producing two to three articles a day! This was going to be easy.
I gave all my articles working titles and then made a folder for each. I started to ammass some research before the month started so I could focus on writing instead of research. I made sure to carry a small notebook every day so I could capture ideas. And I put together a kick-ass writers kit, so I could maximize my lunch hour and get a head on some writing.
